Yahoo! Mail is hiring a Senior Tools Developer to help design and build the infrastructure that powers our products. Our challenges are unique due to the scale of our systems - you should be prepared to quickly pick up new skills and be confident in your ability to solve complex problems.
Qualifications
* Excellent Perl programming skills; a fundamental understanding of what makes clear, maintainable and extensible code, a passion for details and the ability to execute are all requirements. MVC, OO, should be your bread and butter, but the ability to understand and leverage the strengths of other languages is important.
* Excellent documentation skills.
* Excellent follow-through; the ability to shepherd a project from concept to code to polished product.
* Strong database skills
* Track record in developing highly scalable products
